A.M. Best has affirmed the financial strength rating (FSR) of A (Excellent) and the issuer credit ratings of “a” of State National Insurance Company, Inc. (SNIC) and its subsidiaries National Specialty Insurance Company (NSIC) and United Specialty Insurance Company (USIC) (all headquartered in Bedford, TX), which operate under a pooling agreement and are collectively referred to as State National Group (State National).
